  4. Utilize coconut oil-based products on your extensions; opt for Argan oil products instead.
  5. Towel dry your hair or pull at your extensions.
  6. Dye or treat your hair within 24 hours before extension application.
  7. Tie your hair up in the week following application to allow your hair and roots time to adjust.
  8. Bleach or lighten the extensions, as they have already undergone a chemical process.
  9. Keep in mind that dyeing extensions is at your own risk, as it may impact the quality of the hair.
  10. Avoid products containing alcohol, as they can dry out the extensions.
  11. Steer clear of shampoos designed for volume or dyed hair.
  12. Do not wear your extensions while swimming.
